Our Story
My boyfriend is a heavy equipment operator, and I work as a housekeeper and laundry aide. We have a beautiful Pembroke Welsh corgi named Morty (from Rick & Morty) haha. When we aren’t working in the fish room, you may find us hiking, enjoying time with family and friends, and watching hockey.
About Us
Tbay Invertebrates was established in 2023, in Thunder Bay Ontario, home of the sleeping giant. We are delighted to offer a selection of neocaridina shrimp, snails, guppies, and aquatic plants. We currently have 17 fish tanks set up and many more in the works for the future. We both grew up with fish tanks but were never educated on them until COVID-19 hit. An empty tank was sitting around so we decided to set it up. This then snowballed to where we are today, and we wanted to share this love and passion we developed, with the community. There is a lot of different point of views in the fishkeeping hobby, and we want to make fishkeeping as easy to understand as possible, by sharing our knowledge and experiences with the public.
It is guaranteed that all products leaving our care, are to the highest of quality. We have very high standards for ourselves, and we want to ensure we sell products that we would want to receive if we were the customer.
